AND PIONEER CAN SHOW YOU HOW!

Everyone should have access to quality, affordable telecommunications or Internet service. The following telephone assistance programs are supported in Oklahoma:

  • Enhanced Lifeline, a larger discount off of monthly local telephone service or high-speed Internet service for qualified subscribers living on Tribal lands.

You may qualify for Lifeline if you, one or more dependents, or your household participates in any of the following programs: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP a/k/a Food Stamps), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medical Assistance (Medicaid/SoonerCare), Federal Public Housing Assistance, or Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit. Alternatively, you may qualify, if your total household income is at or less than 135% of the federal poverty level. If you reside on Tribal lands, you may qualify by meeting the eligibility requirements above, or by participating in any of the following additional programs: Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or Tribal Head Start Programs (only applicant or customer who satisfies the income qualifying eligibility provision).

To receive Lifeline discounts from Pioneer, you must reside within Pioneer’s service area. You will be required to provide copies of documents demonstrating program participation or total household income. If your documentation of income does not cover a full year, then you must provide income documentation that covers three consecutive months within the last year.
