The holiday season is magical for kids, and technology can help make Christmas even more magical! Thanks to tech, you can build anticipation than tracking Santa Claus as he travels the globe delivering presents.

Here are the best apps and websites to keep your family entertained this Christmas Eve:

1. NORAD Tracks Santa (App & Website)

Since 1955, NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command) has been tracking Santa’s journey. Santa’s global journey kicks off on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, with live tracking from NORAD, the U.S.-Canada command that monitors the skies. Starting at 5 a.m. CT, visitors can follow Santa’s flight around the world until midnight MST. Their interactive website and free mobile app show Santa’s location in real-time with fun animations, holiday music, and festive games for kids.

Kids can have a more interactive experience, by calling 1-877-HI-NORAD (1-877-446-6723) on Dec. 24 from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. CT to speak with live operators and get real-time updates on Santa’s location.

2. Google Santa Tracker (Website)

Google’s Santa Tracker offers a fun and more educational experience. While waiting for Santa’s departure on Christmas Eve, families can explore Santa’s Village, play games, watch holiday-themed videos, and learn about global holiday traditions.

On Christmas Eve, you can watch Santa’s exact route live.

4. Alexa & Google Assistant Integration

If you have a smart speaker, ask Alexa or Google Assistant, “Where’s Santa?” and get real-time updates on his location throughout Christmas Eve. It’s a simple, hands-free way to keep the magic alive while you wrap last-minute gifts or enjoy family time. But be careful! The kiddos might decided they need to know where Santa is every minute of the night, haha!

Whether you use an app, a website, or your smart speaker, these fun tools are sure to create lasting holiday memories. We hope you have an amazing Christmas!
